PCOS

PCOS is a common hormone problem impacting as many as 25% of childbearing-age women. It is characterized by high levels of male hormones, such as testosterone and androgen and may cause late or skipped periods and infertility. Many women also have insulin resistance with this condition and may also see higher than normal blood lipid levels. Other common symptoms include ovarian cysts, acne, increased face and body hair, sugar cravings and weight gain / Obesity .
